Site information

Privacy policy

This page sets out what Choy's Kingdom Guide collects and what it does not. The short version is that there are no accounts, no sign-up and no personal details asked for, but there are still a few things worth explaining plainly.

Data we do not gather

You can read every page here without creating an account, signing in or handing over a name, email address or date of birth. There is no newsletter form, no comment system and no member area. Nothing on the site asks you to identify yourself.

The site does not process deposits, withdrawals or payments of any kind. If you follow a link to our partner, any information you give that operator is handled under its own privacy policy, not this one. We do not receive your account details, your payment details or your playing history from our partner.

Analytics, cookies and what they see

The site may use a third-party analytics service to count visits and see which pages are read. That kind of tool records things like the page you requested, the referring page, your approximate region and the type of device or browser you used. It is used to understand which guides are useful and which are not.

Cookies are small files a site or its analytics provider may store in your browser. They are used here for basic measurement, not to build a profile of you as a person. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site should still be readable; blocking them may mean your visit is not counted.

Your rights under Australian privacy law

The Australian Privacy Act 1988 sets the framework for how personal information is handled in Australia, including the Australian Privacy Principles. This site is run with that framework in mind: collect as little as possible, keep it only as long as needed, and be open about what is held.

Because the site does not ask for personal details, there is usually nothing tied to you to access or correct. If you believe something held about you is wrong, or you want it removed, you can ask. The next section explains how to do that.

Questions

Do I need to give my email address to read this site?

No. There is no sign-up, no account and no newsletter, so no email address is requested. You can read every page without identifying yourself.

How do I ask for information held about me to be removed?

Use the contact route listed on the site and say plainly what you want removed or corrected. Because the site collects very little, the usual answer is that nothing identifying is held, but the request will be looked at.
